Lyndell Fogarty

CEO

Dynamic and fearless entrepreneur who is changing the way HR is done through founding and continuing to build an outsourced HR service model that the Australian and International market is loving. With an experienced, highly professional and respected team to back her up, her drive is evident in the organisations who have engaged performHR.

Experienced HR Generalist with a knack for Organisational Development, Lyndell thrives on marrying her extensive commercial thinking and her ability to apply a multi-faceted yet pragmatic approach to people.

Developing a globally adopted Innovation Program for an insurance organisation through to working with the community sector on cultural due diligence, Lyndell still loves to get her hand in on an opportunity to improve organisational performance.

Engaging facilitator and presenter who is regularly invited to speak at industry forums in Aged Care, Disability Services, Mining Services, Engineering and Manufacturing to name a few. Lyndell is also an avid writer and contributes to various industry and HR publications.

Kirbie McWhirter

General Manager

Kirbie is the General Manager of the energetic, experienced, and innovative performHR team. She has been a member of the performHR team since its inception in 2009, and during this time, proudly driven its success to become one of the leading providers of outsourced HR in the Australian and International market.

Kirbie’s passion is driving sustainable growth within organisations and challenging individuals and organisations to change the way they think, taking them out of their comfort zone, and proving that there are multiple ways of doing things. Developing a vibrant, creative and energetic company culture is Kirbie’s vision, which she strongly believes is evident in the culture of performHR.

Kirbie has over 12 years’ experience working with clients on critical business initiatives such as change management, and strategic HR planning. She is passionate about the not for profit sector and work closely with key stakeholders across multiple different industries.

Darren Fogarty

Head of Partnerships

After 15 years in operational roles in both the Franchising and FMCG sectors, Darren joined the team at performHR in 2014. After working in the role of Commercial Director for 3 years, Darren has recently moved to the role of Head of Partnerships.

Darren’s focus is working with the HR Operational team to ensure they deliver performHR’s value proposition to their clients through technology enablement and insuring our actions reflect our strategy and vison. Darren has a strong professional skillset in negotiation, business planning, management, customer service, and performance management.

Darren’s career to date has enabled him to cultivate his skills in developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness of performHR’s services and the value they can add to their client base.

Darren is energised by the opportunity to collaborate with clients to develop a business strategy and being on that journey as organisations/business owners achieve their financial and people objectives.

Tahnee McWhirter

Operations Director

Tahnee is the proud Operations Director of the energetic and expert team at performHR. Tahnee is focused on ensuring that the team's Consultants are growing – delivering exceptional outcomes for Clients; challenging the status quo of HR and leadership, and growing their own skills and mindset.

Learning early in her career to embrace change and do things differently, Tahnee is driven to live in the Growth Zone and take others along with her. Tahnee is not afraid to challenge the way Leaders think and behave and is fond of powerful questions.

She is a warm communicator and a passionate Leader, whose approach of de-mystifying HR to get out of the way of People doing their best wor. Her preference for personal, relationship-driven engagement results in commitment from her high-performing team, and an energy that clients want in their business.

Always wanting to stay with her finger on the pulse, Tahnee gets in the trenches with her clients to sharpen their People Strategy; guide them through transition and transformation; ready and steady for growth and scale, and is always willing to put her own business-hat on to align business direction to People Strategy.

Natalie Welch

Client Service Director

Natalie is an experienced, solution focused leader who is socially minded, purpose driven and brings an authentically unique approach to Organisational Development. Her capabilities include extensive experience in executive team coaching, and partnering with all stakeholders to ensure that strategic, operational and people related initiatives align with, and support core business needs.

Natalie is a confident and empathic communicator and facilitator, guiding 1:1 conversations that focus on the enhancement of learning through increasing self-awareness and a sense of personal responsibility, offering appropriate challenge and support. She is passionate about designing engaging content and delivering experiential learning programs that use real work situations to leverage capabilities for new, existing or emerging leaders.

With strengths in coaching, strategy development, leadership and team development programs, learning and development, and talent management, Natalie enjoys working hand in hand with leaders, teams and organisations to plan for the future and implement workforce optimisation initiatives to achieve organisational success.

Deborah Grace

Client Service Director

Deborah thrives when shaping modern HR functions and strategies that harness the collective talent and energy of the workforce. Having worked as a Senior HR Executive with the 7-billion-dollar engineering conglomerate Laing O’Rourke, Australian media-leader News Corp, The Hilton Group, and others, Deborah has seen the value truly engaged workforces can bring in competitive markets.

Over Deborah’s career she has partnered with the executive leadership group of leading multinationals through to rapidly emerging industry disruptors to create robust HR structures and strategies that maintain governance and performance without sacrificing their agility or unique cultures. This has included driving substantial transformation to workforce structures, culture, offices and systems delivering multimillion-dollar savings and strengthening innovation and collaboration.

Deborah has helped businesses to evolve their HR and talent strategies to attract and retain top talent during times of rapid and critical change. She has also steered multiple organisations through workforce fluctuations ensuring cultural integrity and morale is retained.

Deborah’s background is diverse with generalist experience across multiple industries including; construction, engineering, professional services, media, property, IT, design, utilities, manufacturing, education, health, travel and hospitality.

Employee Relations Specialists

Rosalind Loxton

ER Service Director

Ros has over 15 years’ experience in the HR and Employee Relations field, and works with performHR's clients to support their HR & leadership teams during periods of workforce change and restructure. Committed to “changing the way HR is done” Ros’ approach is progressive, agile and pragmatic.

With qualifications in HR and Applied Law her specialities include advice on redundancies and workforce notifications, along with supporting terminations, unfair dismissal conciliations, award interpretation, performance management, restructures and mediation.

With extensive experience across IT, Construction, Aged Care, Logistics, and Professional Services, there is no ER issue too big or too small for her strong skill set. Ros prides herself on her client-focused, ‘no cookie cutter solutions’ approach to strategic problem-solving. performHR exist to challenge the status quo of HR service delivery.

Karen Ansen

Head of Workplace Relations

As the passionate and knowledgeable Head of Workplace Relations, Karen is known for her holistic approach to Employee Relations support and her practical solution focused advice.

Operating largely in the Workplace Law space, Karen specialises in both Employee and Industrial Relations. She brings a wealth of expertise to the team, with a focus in common litigation activities, negotiation, legal writing and contracts, oral advocacy, counselling and mediation. Karen prides herself on her excellent track record in resolving unfair dismissal cases, and her sound approach to minimising risk during this process.

Karen worked in Commonwealth and State Government roles for most of her early career before moving to the Department of Industrial Relations, NSW where she provided advice and support to the Fair Work Ombudsman on the implementation of the Modern Awards and the National Employment Standards.

Following the completion her Law Degree, Karen accepted the position of Employee Relations Advisor with Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA). Karen achievements include a guest speaking engagement at the ACSA National conference; and her involvement in both the 2014 ACS Template Enterprise Agreement negotiations and Modern Award Review 2013 -2016.

Karen was admitted to the Supreme Court as a practicing Solicitor in December 2013 and has held an active role in headline cases.

Sarah O'Donnell

ER Specialist

With over thirteen years’ experience in IR/ER across a wide range of industries, Sarah is well equipped to provide workplace relations advice to employers and recommend practical, legally compliant, best practice solutions to people matters.
Sarah places significant importance on assisting employers to proactively meet their ER obligations to minimise the risks that often present themselves in the reactive ER space. Sarah’s comprehensive understanding of the national workplace relations framework and the underpinning legal principles make her an invaluable resource in this space. Coaching mid-level, senior and executive level management around what could be done differently next time to get a different outcome is a regular feature of that process and the coaching discussions that take place.

Sarah’s wide-ranging exposure to ER matters makes her an ideal person to partner with decision makers to educate and upskill ER capability within an organisation’s leadership teams. Sarah brings to the table expertise in the areas of performance management, termination processes, grievance management, workplace consultation, restructures and redundancies and matters of interpretation, to name only a few speciality areas and, since joining performHR, has successfully supported many clients to navigate highly complex ER matters in a safe way.

Johanna Fink

HR Business Partner

Johanna’s HR career commenced and was nurtured at Australia’s largest Defence contractor. Over the course of 10 years Johanna developed her HR HR Generalist skills working across multiple Aviation and Defence projects.

With extensive experience in Operational HR, Project Management and Change Management it is Organisational design that is a particular area of interest for Johanna. Johanna is passionate about the success of cultural change in developing real commercial outcomes for all her clients and maximising the performance and capability to enable the creation of an engaging, inclusive, and 'win win' environment where employees consistently give their best.

Sasi Virtanen

HR Business Partner & HR Team Lead

Sasi has extensive experience as a HR Generalist and she operates in a true business partner capacity. Her experience spans across several industries including manufacturing, mining, healthcare and professional services. Prior to joining performHR Sasi worked mostly in standalone HR roles building a strong generalist foundation.

Sasi is results driven and thrives in a diverse work environment where she can problem solve and find good outcomes for her clients. Sasi has a strategic approach to Human Resources and always looks for ways to support her client’s strategic goal in innovative ways whilst promoting best practice HR practices. Sasi understands the importance of having a strong business acumen, having a good understanding of the business and how it’s human resources can best support the bigger picture.

As a Human Resource professional Sasi is particularly interested in Employee Relations and legislation interpretation. Sasi enjoys the challenges that Employee Relations issues present and is motivated to find resolutions for her clients.

Sasi stepped up into a HR Team Lead role in 2018 and is passionate about her team’s work, their happiness and advancement within the performHR hive.

Ellie Langford

HR Business Partner & HR Team Lead

Ellie prides herself on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business and their ‘why’. Ellie likes to challenge the status quo of HR delivery, appreciating there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. She is passionate about promoting the benefits of employee engagement to businesses, and incorporating elements of this across all functional areas of HR - whether it be day-to-day business as usual or the design of strategic HR initiatives.

Prior to joining the performHR team, Ellie worked for 4+ years as a Recruitment Consultant with two reputable national recruitment agencies. Notably, she spent 2 years in Melbourne, working within a team that specialised in the design and facilitation of assessment centres to identify suitable candidates for high-volume recruits across varying industries.

With a strong motivation for stepping up to the next challenge and furthering her expertise, Ellie has recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management through Griffith University, and is currently participating in the 2017 HunterNet Future Leaders Program. A HR skillset to be reckoned with, Ellie now has her sights on a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

Caitlin McMahon

HR Business Partner & HR Team Lead

Caitlin is a forward thinking, purpose driven leader who keeps the big picture in mind. Connecting people to purpose is her specialty with each framework she designs being connected to business strategy to drive aligned and focused performance.

Caitlin is a confident communicator and a genuinely curious facilitator seeking to understand problems and challenging thinking to move forward with growth in mind. Caitlin is experienced in facilitating employee lead change programs, with a focus on continuous improvement that makes sense for the business.

With strengths in people strategy development, culture change, capability frameworks, internal communication, employee engagement, and succession planning, Caitlin is a true business partner delivering on what the organisation needs to achieve it’s strategic goals.

Paayal is a dedicated Human Resources professional with over 6 years’ experience as a HR generalist, working across different functions of HR management in the Health, Public Sector and Not for profit industries.

Paayal is results driven and approaches all matters both professionally and confidentially. Paayal understands the importance of identifying business needs and aligning those needs to the business goals. Paayal thrives in achieving quality results and understands the importance of immersing herself in the culture and practices of her clients to best support their strategic needs.

Paayal takes pride in building relationships and in her approach. As a Human Resources professional, Paayal has experience in providing advice and support to Management in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, Award & Policy interpretation and HR projects.
